How is support set up?

You can self-refer or social services, local authority, sensory impairment units and mental health teams may refer simply by filling in the enquiry form or emailing carron@pasupport.co.uk  We will then get in touch to find out what your support needs are and if it matches our services we will arrange a free  face to face consultation to go through our services with you and your needs.  If you are happy and feel comfortable with our services we would then create a support plan together.

How do I pay for support?

Depending on your circumstances, some support may be funded by the local authority or you may have Direct Payments. If you feel you are eligible for funding you can contact your local council for an assessment. we can also help you with this if needed.

If you are self funded you can make payments through bank transfer. We do not accept cash payments.  Payment information can be found at the bottom of the invoice. 

What are your fees?

Fees vary from client to client depending on their specific needs. Direct payment and local authority fees are agreed between Carron PA Support and the provider. Self-funded clients fees will depend on your personal financial circumstances will be discussed at our initial meeting. Carron PA Support has a minimum chargeable service with a minimum of 2 hours support for Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. 1 hour minimum support for Milton Keynes and online remote support. 

Do you only support Deaf and DeafBlind adults?

Yes, due to personal experience as Carron the owner is Deaf and we have deaf staff.  We see ourselves as  positive role models for Deaf and DeafBlind clients. We also support Hard of Hearing clients. We do offer support to Deaf and DeafBlind adults with additional disabilities and needs, depending on their circumstances. 

Do you support Deaf and DeafBlind children?

Unfortunately, no. We support adults from 18 years. This includes students. Students may benefit from our mentoring service.

Carron PA Support is 'Exactly Who You Need'.  Carron is deaf and understands first hand the needs of the Deaf and Deafblind community. Carron aims to support you and give you the skills  to access services and organisations locally and nationally. Carron has the use of an interpreter to facilitate communication  and will encourage, support and signpost you to access everyday life independently.
